There can be different reasons for the delay you are experiencing and we need your help to figure out what is going on. System resources on all ends affect the actual performance of the system on your end.

1st: We are checking the bandwidth here at Real Time Markets. We have our systems department constantly monitoring our capacity. We maintain a constant 60% free capacity on our servers.

2nd: How is your connection to the Internet? If you have a DSL or an ADSL or ISDN connection and have slowness or freezing, email us back with the details of your connection. We have a rep who can assist with your processors. If you have a dial up connection or one of the connections listed above, have you ever used our Link command ? The directions are listed below.

When connected to Real Time Markets, please go to Chat and type: /Link

The Link command will display the connectivity or communication results between the Real Time Markets software and your receiving PC.

The results will show as follows:
Link Stats
Connection Time
Baud Rate
Highest Baud Rate ever established on this account to Real Time Markets
Number of messages sent and the totalling bytes
Number of bytes we attempted to send you, which were not processed on your end
(Please note this last value should be 0 - if it is not then we need to check the following).

· 64mb RAM (128mb Recommended)
· 20mb Free Hard Drive Space
· 32-bit Graphics Adapter
· 56k baud Modem Connection (recommended: higher)
· Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME/XP or NT 4.0
· Windows supported Mouse
· Windows supported Printer (optional)

Having less RAM or a slower CPU may adversely effect your quotes, either in slowing down the speed or in forcing the program to close. Having a slower modem connection cause lag time. Please look into upgrading your computer if needed for optimum service.
